Yes, I didn't actually use photoshop for that though. If I have a pretty simple blue effect I want to do I use a free program from Google called Picassa.

Pretty cool effects. I really need to learn more about computers in general and photoshop tools in particular. I'm decent in an actual darkroom but have no clue on a computer.

I am the other way around. I have never once stepped foot in a darkroom. PS is great, but it can be intimidating at first. You could use it for years and years without harnessing most of its power. But you play around, get the basics...do a few more things and just keep building. I dig it. I don't get as much into it as some...I am not interested in making my stuff too artsy. I just like taking things and bending it just a little...while keeping it realistic.

Have you seen the extras DVDs for the Lord of the Rings movies. I can't remember which set covers it but they show some raw footage compared to the final cut images- it is incredible! You can see while watching the movies that it is altered but you can't necessarily tell how much. Some of the scenes are wildly different after enhancement and, supposedly, they altered/ enhanced close to two thousans scenes in the trilogy. Imagery is incredibly powerful and intriguing to me. I would love to learn digital enhancement.
