i'm sure if i think hard enough i can come up with more examples, but don't feel like putting forth the effort, but i'm not gonna sit here and act like CH's actions didn't lead to his own demise...

I don't think he should have been. This wasn't a death/prayer thread for an individual poster, so the rules of conduct should be different.

Would it ruin the season. No probably not to be honest. That being said I would still feel bad for all or Wades teammates, family and friends. However it seems like a lot of players on the Bengals were very very close to the guy. So from a personal standpoint could it hurt them or ruin their season I suppose so maybe.

Maybe it will fire them up to play for the season for him. My somewhat cynical view of this is if asked the question, 4-12 and Henry alive or 11-5 and Henry dead 80 percent of Bengals fans, while giving bullshit Sainted praise to the guy they don't even know, would deep down take the playoff berth. Just my take on all the "heartfelt" fawning and hypocritical empty gesturing we do as a society.

Actually, I agree. I just finished reviewing this thread and while a lot of what he said was a classless attempt at attention whoring, I saw no real bannable offense.

I suppose if enough people get their panties in a wad and hit the "report post" button action needs to be taken.
