Alexander Douglas Smith: 2016

We wouldn't we want to roll out another Alex Smith thread?!?!? Listen, for the Clay haters, this will probably be the thread that gets him banned. He can't help himself, right? Let's go!!!

First off, as many of you know, I have been very critical of Alexander Douglas Smith. Wasn't happy with the trade, HATED the extension, and have burned him to the ground from the beginning. So ****ing sick of the retread QB's.

So, that said Alex Smith is my Daddy. I mean, I just have to own that at this point. Here's why. He's never had continuity in a system. That guy had a new offensive coordinator just about every year until Jim Harbaugh showed up. And he flashed a little bit. That said, it sure looks like San Fran traded their best QB to us in favor of some douche that's starting some thing all over the league, while riding the bench to a guy named Blaine Gabbert.

Alex is now in his 4th year of the same system and it's showing. He's getting better. Why is he my daddy now all of a sudden though? Because he proved that he's more than just a game manager. He made some ****ing incredible throws against the Chargers last week. The back shoulder Maclin throw, the Maclin throw where Jeremy was almost killed, The Spencer Ware throws. Twice he hit him downfield (like, way more than 8 yards!), and then finally the Kelce throws.

People can give Spencer Ware a lot of credit, he is deserving of it after the monster game he had. Make no mistake about it though, Alexander Douglas Smith personally put this team on his back and willed them to victory. 1 play at a time. 1 throw at a time. He's a leader, and it reflected in the locker room after that game. They trust Alex now. They trust that he has what it takes to will them to victory in any game.

Alex isn't just a game manager anymore. He's a game changer, and a leader. This team could go 6-10 this year and I'll say the same thing. He has the ability and he's proven it. Now let's see where they go with it. I'm officially a YUGE Alex fan. What do you think? I'll take your comments off air.

No hypocritical statements here. I would support trading for any team's second-round QB pick and always have.

Derek Carr, Jimmy G, Drew Brees, Andy Dalton...I would have and would be fine with any of those quarterbacks on my dearly beloved Kansas City Chiefs.

They'll trade for Hundley eventually and the Chiefs Kingdom will applaud the decision because he was drafted by Ted Thompson and was Rodgers understudy for years.

Silver lining in all that is a) there won't be any Hundley nuthuggers to follow him and troll CP and b) Packers fans are nice enough they won't register here to try and tell us how to feel about the acquisition of Hundley and c) the rest of the Smith cultists who have never been within a county's distance to Arrowhead won't be around any more to tell me how much of a non-fan I am for not supporting Alex.

... but other than that I won't expect much from Hundley outside of some 9-7 type seasons where the Chiefs will maybe make some noise in the playoffs.

... you know... the exact same scenario we have unfolding right now.

Semen is a Matt Cassel clone. Denver has played 2 home games against a defense that was starting 2 rookie corners and an Indy defense that was already one of the worst in the league before missing players.

they play at Cincy next week. Time to see what they can really do.

yes, Semen was so awesome. Not like it's a team game and the teams beat their opponents. Semen did!

If Smith puts up these numbers by beating these teams, you'd be bashing him all the way.

You really suck as a fan.. and that comes from someone who quit his SB team to come to this 2-14 team. LOL
Then you never had a team and never will.
That's all anyone needs to know about you.
