O.City did you see the story about Goldberg from Mighty Ducks? Apparently he is almost a year drug free but had to get all new teeth bc of meth.

You ever have to do dental work with a scope that big/bad?

Like full mouth rehab meth mouth etc? Yeah, in my rural office pretty regularly.

I took out 26 teeth and delivered a set of dentures to a guy who got off the sauce just a week ago.

I prefer to upload them to imgur.com and then right click - copy the image location then post it here with img tags.

He tried to play it off as “I drink a lot of Mountain Dew” but I’ve done this enough to know what looks like what. I just asked how long he’d been on and he said he’d finally kicked it and was wanting to get his mouth fixed

No clue how that doesn’t hurt like shit but he wasn’t really in pain he said

I don't of that one with me. It's on my office computer at that office somewhere I'm sure.

A set of immediate dentures run you about 1k per arch, and then the extractions and alveoplasty which is essentially smoothing bone to make it easier to wear a denture.

He had 26 (iirc) teeth left to extract. I don't remember what my specific prices are on extractions but in those big cases I just do so much per arch instead of per tooth to make it financially easier on the patient.

Oh there was infection.

Once you hit the necrotic phase, as long as it's draining and there isn't swelling you won't have pain for the most part.

He had multiple abscesses everywhere so the extraction part was pretty easy. He'd eroded most of the bone away from them with lingering infections so they popped out. Relatively speaking.
