If Bob Sutton is retained as defensive coordinator, I think we have no choice but to find his house and burn it down with him inside

So, who is to blame for continually putting him in that position? I think the number one problem is that Grampa Bob wants to play like he's got Revis in his prime and play bump-n-run man coverage and just blanket guys with his physical corners. Only you can't, not anymore. You can't. Especially not in a cover 0 or cover 1. Super especially not with brain dead safeties that have no idea where to go. Nelson is only effective with the play in front of him. If he's trailing or running downfield with his back to the QB it's an easy DPI. EVERY ****ING TIME. It's more efficient than any other play you could call. |

I think there is a hint of irony about the Chiefs top brass. When it came to Hunt kicking the crap out of the young lady, finding out that he had lied about it, they dismissed him from the organization immediately. When it comes to the

Bob Sutton meets with the media every Thursday and I have yet to see him get asked the most basic of questions... what is your rationale for playing soft zone coverage on 3rd and 5 or 6?

I didn't even know that happened. He wouldn't survive those sessions in many markets.

Defense of the Chiefs, they have lied to us all year long. they assure us that they are going to fix the problems on the defensive side of the ball. I think they should fire Bob Sutton, the guy with white hair and the infinite clueless look on his face every time the camera points in his direction. I can look at him and see clearly he has no clue of what to call. He dials up blitzes but doesn't have the secondary to cover a cow without holding on to them dear life. Or even better, lets blitz with zone coverage on a 3rd and short and just give them the short middle route for a gain of 8 to 12 yards. This guys has got to go, for all of us who work in the real world for much less pay, if our performance was as lousy as his, we would be sitting in the HR department surrounded by management being served our termination paperwork

This is increasingly becoming harder by the year to watch. Unfortunately for my young son, who is being raised a Chiefs fan, the two of us attending every home game we can, I asked him if he would want to go to the Raiders upcoming, to his response was NO. I asked him why not and he told me, that he would prefer to not have to fight the traffic, fight the crowds, pay 6 bucks for a size small hot chocolate, have me pay money to watch them get beat, lose their number one seed and lose the West. The fan in me told him that was unlikely to happen, his response was to me was, the Chiefs don't have any defense and when they are losing in the fourth, Patrick Moholmes can't always do everything. The long and short of it all, my son is smarter than I, and the Chiefs organization will be facing the real threat of losing a severe numbered fan base with the next generation. Evidently, many of his close friends in school feel the same way. I know that there will be tough loses in any season, but the miracle offense as shown over the last 5 weeks, can't do everything. Chiefs have lost 3 out of their last 5 games. It's wake up time for somebody, as we all know, that is no way to enter the playoff's. I don't know how many more 1 and done's or 2 and through's I can take. I feel like a Chicago Cub's fan, in that the year I pass, they will win the whole thing. Unfortunately for the rest of KC Fans, I don't plan on checking out for a long while, unless it is by a heart attach from watching my beloved Chiefs play defense
