He's quick, but isn't quick enough to stay on the field.Every time he's tackled by a defender going full speed it's like a car ran into his ass. The guy needs size also to survive , hell the quickest RB of all-time ( Barry Sanders) was the same height but was 200 pounds to take hits and run through arm tackles.

Jamaal Charles is quick

Dante Hall was quick

Dexter McCluster is NOT quick. Dexter McCluster is garbage compared to those guys. He looks like my 90-year old grandfather who has one leg and Parkinson's walking to the shitter compared to those two players.

It's a giant ****ing myth that McCluster has elite quickness, moves, and/or speed. He's totally unremarkable.
Dante Hall was worse on offense than Dexter McCluster.

No, he wasn't.

Dante Hall had 40 catches one year playing as a 4th WR.

He also had a 34-catch season.

He scored 3 receiving TD from 50 yards out or MORE during his career with the Chiefs.

Dex isn't close right now.

I'd bet anything Dex doesn't have more than 25 catches this year, barring an injury to Breaston or Charles.

Trent Green vs. Mathew Cassel

I don't know. Dex isn't worth arguing over. He could be replaced easily.

Shits gonna hit the fan around here when Droughn and Wylie are inactive and McCluster gets 8-10 touches.

Especially towards the end of the year when he gets within reaching distance of 1000 yards.

Yeah every game last year I was wondering of he was gonna die on the field lol.

Well thats your opinion, you have yours and I have mine. I think Dex is goin to have a good year and make people think differently of him. Breaston has never played the slot before, if you have listened to a interview with him, he said he never played the slot.

That's debatable. But it's also not the topic.

If you wanted to see a guy who could do amazing things with the ball in his hands in open space, would you call a 2003 Dante Hall or Dexter McCluster?

There shouldn't even be an argument. This team thinks McCluster is the Dante Hall to Jamaal Charles' Priest Holmes. It's ****ing ridiculous. Not once has Dexter ever done something outside of his kick return Game 1 of the 2010 season that made my jaw drop.

Dante Hall in his prime was good for a jaw-dropping moment every couple of games

Breaston only contributed 2 TD's last year, as the number 2 receiver.

Hyperbole, much?

He's certainly not as quick as JC or Hall, but he's not slow.

I don't love the guy, and I don't hate him.

Jamaal Charles only had 5 rushing TDs in his great 2010 year.

There are idiots on this board that won't give Cassel credit when it's due.

There are idiots on this board that won't give DMC credit when it's due.

Both played well last Fri night. Now there's no game planning on the part of ARZ to try and stop what we do, but it still requires players to go out there and execute. Oline guys still need to block, WR's need to get open and catch the ball, RB's need to hit the lanes, and Cassel needs to make the pass and avoid the sack.

All of that was done last night and we still have people on here bitching about nothing.

Personally as much as I would like for Cassel to be replaced, realistically who would replace him? Stanzi isn't ready to start and Quinn is a #2 backup at best, and is even worse than Cassel. I would LOOOOOVE Cassel to prove me and everyone in KC wrong that he can be a good QB and lead this team to a deep playoff run and potentially a SB.

I hope he improves and shows us all that it was more so Haley that was the problem. You saw what a controlling nutcase he was on offense. Coaches arguing, players arguing, HC's and QB's in shouting matches, playing starters in 4th pre-season games in the 4th qtr, firing your OC just before the start of the regular season, stripping away your game plan and OC's playcalling duties at halftime of the playoff game when the game's 10-7.

If anything else, this will be a more well prepared football team because of coaching. How many times under Haley did this team just look lost? What was that record we set for going so many quarters without an offensive TD? That's horrible.

Half the reason McCluster failed as a receiver is he was used completely wrong. Like I've said before, gotta hit him when he's moving, if a defender has a chance to light him up, it's over. I think McCluster was his 3 times while running last night, it went well for him. None of that behind the LOS shit, or urls routes where the ball sloy floated his way as a hulking Ravens defender flew in to break his tiny neck.
