It's the same thing as when Charles was at Texas. Aaron Ross returned punts instead of Charles. He can juke better. Why didn't Charles return punts when LJ was the #1 RB?

Charles is fast as hell but, he's not quick.

I would post some video if I could but I can't post video because I don't have enough posts yet.

McCluster

and you want the guy to be Reggie Bush-lite? When there are 6 guys ahead of him that should command the ball more

Reggie Bush was Reggie Bush because besides Brandon Marshall there was no one else on that offense. He was the 1st or 2nd option to get all that production. McCluster is buried by much better talent/weapons ahead of him and it's not even close.

I wouldn't put 500 yards receiving out of the question for McCluster this year

so 1000 for Bowe
1000 for Baldwin
500 for McCluster
0 for Breaston?
0 for the TEs?
not counting the RBs

you are looking at least 2500 out of Matt Cassel, counting Breaston, TEs and RB checkdown passes you are predicting Cassel throws for over 3000 yards this season

that is bold.

McCluster will be a lot more effective once we start pushing the ball down the field more.

Just like the final 3 games with Orton.

I expect his touches to go way down (to around 5/game) but for his averages to go way up.

If we stay healthy, I expect him to gain around 5-700 yards...if we have a couple injuries, he could approach 1000 yards.

Flame away, but take some time to realize how many passes he is ctenoid from Cassel in practice and the first preseason game...that should show you how the coaching staff sees his skill set translating to this offense.

He is running with the first and second teams.

He will be a player that is constantly shifted and put in motion to get matchups we want.

With the rest of the talent we have on offense, defenses will be forced to cover him one on one and he should be able to make plays with those circumstances.

You're exactly right. Charles is not "quick". They are still trying to come up with a word for "quicker than quick" to describe him.

Okay. I can play this game too.

Why didn't Ole Miss use McCluster as a kick returner ever? They never used him even ****ing once.
