There is no reason whatsoever to alienate a player like Charles. He's tremendously talented, and by all accounts, the exact type of player that this regime wants on it's football team.

I'm not doubting that. I just think we need just a little more to base it on than this. We don't know if Weis or Haley chewed Carthon out. We don't know if Weis has other plans for Charles in the early going. Or if maybe he just didn't like the matchup. We don't know if Nick is completely wrong, which is totally and completely possible.

If we're 5 or 6 games into the season and we're still seeing this, then okay. But for now, it's premature.
