beach talked about age, and the most famous, and unlikely franchise backup Kurt Warner took his team to the SB at 28. Cassel who is payed to play lights out, because of his contract is displaying anything but a franchise QB with that type of talent at the same age. Hence the comparison

So....why'd you stop talking about Trent who wasn't good until his 30s?

I think it's a consensus that you're a ****ing dumb****. So why keep posting? Just stick to posting KCStar articles.

Trent was the same age as Warner when his knee busted, and was the starter when he was brought in. Kurt won the SB same year, then Green didn't have a chance to win his job back.

The greatest thing about all of the butthurt Cassel haters is that we basically get to have the same thing next season.....(if there is football)

Imagine how much fun and good times will be had if Cassel steps up and keeps improving....

Personally I am looking forward to continued laughter at the expense of the morons.

And the million-mile long plethora of excuses that will spew forth like a blazing torrent from a shit-fountain if he doesn't!

Yay!

If he doesn't what? See, thats the problem....No one is saying he is gonna have a pro bowl season or get 30 TD's every year.....

The margin for error is so much more forgiving if you aren't completely ****ign reeruned and are semi-reasonable...

A) Saying he sucks and is a pile of shit and doesn't deserve to be the QB makes it a lot easier to be wrong....

B) Saying that he played pretty well in 2010 and if the Chiefs improve personnel and Cassel continues to improve that he should have a decent year is really not as much of a stretch....things can happen and maybe he will have setbacks. Who knows, but it seems like he should continue to improve...

If person B is wrong, there is really not a great deal of need to make excuses....But if person A is wrong....they seem like an idiot..a big mouthed ****ing moron.

They will seem all that much more reeruned in 2011, since they SAW him play some good games in 2010. They saw the difference even a few minor upgrades to the line made.....they realize we spent only 80 million in 2010 (dead last in the league in salary)......they saw the improvements from 2009 to 2010......the biggest turnaround in franchise history....in Haleys second year...

If they saw all of these things and continue to predict failure......I would personally say 'prepare for humiliation.' Because I don't get the same sense of utter failure they do.

But I guess we shall see, at this point I am just hoping that we have football in 2011 as that (ironically) could be the biggest of all setbacks.

I believe the word you used was "improve". Now I understand that improvement by inches will be enough to keep the jock-ride going, but I just don't see that as being real improvement.

Oh well, we've never done the right thing at the position post-Montana so I'm not expecting us to start now. Just pipe in the Ringling Bros. theme, and pound those seats!!!

Here is the problem with Cassel's Pro Bowl berth:

Horrible games:

San Diego - 1st
Cleveland - 22nd
Buffalo - 24th
Oakland - 11th
Baltimore - 10th

Average games:

Indianapolis - 20th
Jacksonville - 28th
Oakland - 11th
Denver - 32nd
St. Louis - 19th

Good games:

SF - 13th
Houston - 30th
Denver - 32nd
Arizona - 29th
Seattle - 27th
Tennesee - 26th

He played like a Pro Bowler in six games this year, five games of which were against the shittiest defenses in the league.

This is getting reeruned. Lets just deduct stats from everyone in the league then that plays a subpar defense shall we. I know it pains some of you, but he got selected GTF over it.

Charles and Bowe are frauds too!!!!!

Cassel was on 810 today. Sounded like a pretty cool guy, actually.

If Cassel plays well next year, the love for him on this board will return to what it was before he returned to the player that routinely shit the bed in 09.

Trouble is that right out of the gates, every defense we face will have seen the tape eleventy times of what Oakland and Baltimore did to shut us down.

Time to adjust and show that your weaknesses have been eliminated or to have a really long year of getting embarrassed.

I am going to be pulling for him, but I wont bethe least bit surprised if he totally shits the bed and we only win 5 or 6 games with our schedule.
