Which drugs have you used recreationally?

There’s a debate in DC right now that’s got me a bit curious about the people’s drug use.

I’m going to play fast and loose on what is considered a drug and how they’re grouped/separated. If you have tried any of these options, even once, please note it in the poll options.

Also, feel free to discuss anything drug related as non-politically as possible.

I've been a fairly heavy drinker my entire life. Not really a drink every day kind of person, but a heavy binge drinker on my days off. In the last two months I've had 5 beers total. Probably the longest I've gone without getting drunk since I started drinking. It's been refreshing.

I've got a little vacation coming up and I plan to drink at least one day when I'm gone. Then I'll probably go back to not drinking for a while.

9 years doing this weed thing and Im constantly amazed at how much this state does cocaine. Im convinced it's because we have 300 days of sunshine and the Rocky Mountains.

Huge swaths of the population are rich guys who do coke but don't smoke pot. Just so they can keep drinking.

It's so weird. But whatever.

I have some psilocybin truffles (bought them on the internet from a store in Europe) in my fridge that I need to eat. I really do find them therapeutic and have made several lifestyle changes as a result of previous trips. For example, I no longer feel the need to drink alcohol. I can count on two hands the drinks I've had in the past year.

You pop to another dimension.

When I arrived the beings anticipated that I wanted to ask where I was and they presented a Wheel of Fortune and asked if I wanted to buy a vowel.

You don't see like a human. Your vision is in all directions at once. But you are also being observed by Beings.

I ended up approaching a large lake and observed that I had wings and could fly. So I did.

Woke up and was told I had been out for 5 minutes.

After hearing stories of people who have tried DMT I'm fascinated with how deep into the void they seem to go. Joe Rogan may be a bit of a philosopher for knuckle heads but when him and Doug Stanhope get together and describe the experience it's pretty amazing how intense it was.

I hit on this topic because of the podcasts thread and ran upon this DMT experience and how similar they all seem to be about being so out of body.

https://wondery.com/shows/this-is-ac...the-dark-side/

WARNING: The story above is told in a painfully long winded fashion before finally hitting the pay dirt so don't be afraid to skip almost to the middle. You'll miss nothing.
