If they don't then they don't know what there talking about.
In every physical category for QB play, Quinn and Stanzi are superior to Cassel. From pocket awareness to arm strength. Cassel is good with safety nets. Good for him.

Both Stanzi and Quinn are probably superior to him in term of the physical capabilities desired in a QB are concerned. The main difference with the perception is Cassel's unwillingness to take a shot downfield (b/c he's not physically capable) and the talent that surrounds him.

Get bent with those takes. I want to know who is PHYSICALLY capable and whether or not they're mentally capable.
Are you serious dude? Quinn shit the bed as a starter. He got his shot and had happy feet. He got rattled. Stanzi hasn't done shit and it's not looking like he will either. He hasn't shown one thing. I don't care where he was drafted. That has nothing to do with it. If he wants to make the team, he better quit worrying about his hair and make some decent reads and complete some passes.

Who cares if Cassel doesn't have the strongest arm? It's not like we have Mike Wallace or Torrey Smith. He can overthrow our WRs with the average arm he has. It's not like we have a ton of elite speed at the position. Furthermore, we now have two TEs to throw it to. Arm strength? Who gives a shit about arm strength in our system? When has Daboll ever had a QB with arm strength?

Cassel's biggest problems have been his leadership and his ability to make plays when they have to be made. He needs to play with the lead and he's ok. He has grown and doesn't stare down WRs as often as he used to. His o-line is now the real deal.

There isn't one guy we could have gotten that's better than Cassel since he's been in KC.

Up until this point, Stanzi is a joke. Being in love with Stanzi is 1,000 times worse than being in love with Tebow. Outside of Iowa, nobody even knows who the **** Stanzi is. He's hanging on by a thread imo.

Anyone without a bias can see that. Hell, I want to believe that Stanzi's better.

With those takes we should definitely draft someone then. We can call them a bust before they ever start. We can also shit on them after the first 15 games as a starter. "If you can't come in and score 25 pts a game....

Why? Lack of football instincts and poor presence in the pocket are Cassel's biggest weaknesses.

Pretty much. I'll be shocked if Cassel isn't clearly the best QB on the roster, and I'm obviously no big fan of his.

If anyone can actually believe that Cassel is not the best QB on this team, they either don't know shit about football or they simply hate Cassel because that's the "cool" thing to do. It was night and day in the game Friday night. I don't care if he checks down all day. Do you think the fans in Boston cry because Brady checks down to Welker all the time? It's called being a smart QB and taking what you have. The deep ball is a luxery in the NFL, not a necessity. You can win a lot of games without the deep ball.

Cassel could go 13-3 with 30 TDs and 10 INTs this year and take us to the AFC championship game and some of you would still say he sucks. This is the most talent he has ever had here, so give it a chance and see what happens. You may be surprised. Or you can sit around and complain all day and continue to live your miserable life.

One would hope that Cassel is the best QB hasn't he been in the league longer, study under Brady? Stanzi looks like Montana in the pocket compared to Cassel. Stanzi throws a way better ball than Cassel. You can' see it by looking at 2-7, but it is there. How can you judge a guy based on one camp and one game. Shit didn't Manning throw a pick?

After the first preseason game, I'll say Stanzi was throwing with as much accuracy and ability to read defenses as any other QB on our depth chart.

Cassel is making two reads in most snaps. His accuracy is good enough but like folks have mentioned, he had elite protection while Stanzi just had pretty good protection.

Quinn, as has been mentioned, looked like ass.

It's hard to really judge. Stanzi was making his reads against 3rd teamers and guys who will probably not even be in the league in a couple weeks. he throws a nice ball, but 2-7 doesn't impress anyone. Now on the flip side he is throwing to guys who probably won't be in the league also, but most guys on an NFL team can catch a pass that is well thrown.
