Props to TN... I didn't get to watch, but they must have played their asses off against all odds. Reminds me of when Mike Anderson first got to Mizzou. He benched the whole starting line-up one game, and still nearly came up with a conference road win.

Looking back, it seems like one of those "statements" that can change a program.

Actually we were talking about it at the Wellston Basketball tourney... His kids go to OCA with mine... We spent alot of time Thurs, Fri and Sat smack talking and putting down a bet. Which obviously, I lost.

He thought after the suspensions that they were playing better ball. I honestly thought in all my KU cockiness, that KU would win by 20, he honeslty thought KU would win by 30, I took KU and gave 25 for some BW2. Reerun was served some humble pie today. But its not all lost.. Still alot of Ball left and KU is still a very good team... Each year games like this happen to someone.... Wouldnt be surprised if FL takes down UK on Tuesday night.

Props to TN, they wanted it, KU didnt.

Now it's possible Tx could win the B12, but KSU & MU coming in 2nd & 3rd over KU is laughable at this time of the season. Not totally impossible,but highly laughable.

I will say that KU is in an obvious shooting slump as a team right now. Like against Cornell, they couldnt hit water if they fell out of a boat. I feel bad for the team that has to play Kansas next. Think its NEB. not sure.

You'd be correct. Nebraska it is Wednesday evening as a matter of fact. I feel sorry for them as well. This loss should only help KU in the long run I'm thinking. They showed some fight making a close game of it in a hostile environment it was just way too little too late. Now KU won't quite have the pressure on them that comes with being the number one team in the country, and their first loss is out of the way so people won't be pressuring KU with speculation of having an undefeated season. That's as much as it stings two monkeys off KU's back right there, which they should only benefit from going forward. The past few games to me KU has been playing really tight. Like they've been trying to play not to lose or something, instead of playing to win. They've made some bonehead plays too which certainly doesn't help their cause. Bottom line is they have their flaws just like any other team, but I have confidence Self will have this team peaking by tourney time.

I didn't get to watch the game, but if the refs were anywhere near as bad as they were in the MU/KSU game, my condolences. I guess in our game they were making bad calls both ways though.

It wasn't bad calls as much as really ticky tack calls. They wouldn't let either team play and get in a rhythm. There were several nice open field tackles in the KSU-MU game.
