Used to give a lot of camp good insight at the old Star board.

Registered to the Coalition simply to ask questions when he posted his TC observations there.

But the question still remains.

Why are they working Poe at RE?

I'm just sick of this "don't beat yourself" philosophy we've had to suffer through ever since Vermeil retired.

When you go to the playoffs, you win by making plays. Period. You don't win by not making bad plays. And that goes for the defense, too. Bend-don't-break can be effective, but if you're not willing to change it up and put the pressure on when you need to, you're going to lose.

I'll gladly take an extra 5-10 INTs at the end of the year if it means we get 5-10 more TDs and 1000 more yards through the air. The kind of numbers Eli Manning has been doing during the regular season from about 2007ish-2010ish would be acceptable. He'll throw picks, but at least he's not afraid to ****ing win. That seems to be the kind of QB Stanzi was at Iowa, and it's the kind of QB that Cassel is NOT.

Agh. Hope he just needs a few practices to settle down. I have high hopes for Bailey this year.

basically what I took from the tweet, is that Poe working there isn't a big deal, they were all working on the same technique.

I'm pretty sure this point was made during the 2010 season by several here, and it bears repeating:

A Matt Cassel offense combined with a bend-don't-break defense is a recipe for disaster.

In games against good teams, that defense is going to bend a lot and then Cassel is going to break it's back like Bane broke Batman's.

I would like to see our offense have at least enough of a deep threat to keep opposing defenses honest. Keep those safeties back. The attack needs to be balanced enough that defenses cannot just zero in on our run game. And I don't think Cassel has the accuracy to make this happen.

He will be there in Joplin, or visiting the sick kids with a genuine smile on his face, thats worthy of my real respect.

But those two embarrassingly bad gifs of happy feet & total inablity to step into a throw for accuracy & distance against one man rush pressure, are further proof that he is best cast as #2.

If Matt is really good at charity shit, I'd be glad to give him the job of KC Wolf. Put him in a job where he can succeed.

I am not as well versed as some of you in QB mechanics but to me anyway it looks like a good number of his completed passes are off target. Hence all the highlight reel catches by Bowe. And I do think alot of it is he panics under pressure. Maybe a new HC and off coordinator will help but I'm not holding my breath on it.

Not that too many head coach press conferences are exhilarating material, but I enjoy listening to Crennel much more than I do Haley. He's a lot more open to talking and I get the feeling that he's not "hiding" anything.

EDIT: I'm not kidding myself. Pioli's in charge, so I'm sure there's a ton of shit being hidden....like there are aliens under Arrowhead.

Yeah, the guy's 30 now. New HC, OC, MD, FEMDOM, doesn't matter any more. He is what he is. And that's the extent of my Cassel bashing here.
