So when do people stop going out to eat?

I have a customer who owns 5 Mexican Food Cafes here in the Phoenix area. The past few years we've reprinted their menus 6 times...always to accommodate higher prices. Their typical cost now is about $18.00 per entree...Mexican food.

On a personal note I stopped by a McDonald's today and paid $4.96 for a large order of fries. There's got to be a breaking point for most folks.

I should've mentioned, I don't eat much store-bought bread anymore either, so there's that. Local bakeries for the most part. And we're literally taking maybe 8 slices/month. Most of my carbs are in the form of rice. Being Korean, it's like a law. If I don't consume at least a half metric shit ton of rice every month, I lose my verified Korean card.

I love the stuff. One of my dad's Army buddies was married to a Korean. She made her own and turned my mom and I on to it.

I once had it at a beer/dinner pairing thing with an IPA and it did a helluva job removing the bitterness from the IPA.

So, that's all I know about kimchi.

kimchi is awesome Well, as a side dish it's awesome. If you're rubbing it on your nether regions, not so much.

190 cals in a chicken burrito bowl. 15% sodium. Not bad at all and I get it with brown rice. Can't imagine eating anything that didn't have vegetables in it that would be any healthier.
So if your quac is only made from avocados, and isn't made of mayonnaise/processing/artificial crap, etc. And Chipotle does use only avocados. It is actually reasonably healthy. Avocados contain mono healthy fats and minerals and vitamins from the 'green' family that most Americans don't get enough of.

From a health perspective, skipping the cheese and adding quac is the way to go although it does add cost...

I also saw a study a while back that says despite people thinking your personal rate of change plateaus as you reach adulthood, you tend to keep changing your hobbies/interests/etc. at the same rate or even more often as you age into and beyond your 40s/50s/so on... so I think that fallacy leads people into thinking they'll be bored out of their mind at 80 or 90, so who cares about those year.
Everyone in my family (males) lives until late 50s so Im good. I know I only have a decade or two left. Thats why Im living life.

I think kimchi is something people only pretend to like because it's cool. Like kale.

Hey, we made a worse version of sauerkraut, you've got to try this!
