I've been wondering why we Mizzou fans don't have one of these.

Damnit. I completely forgot about the game. Looks like it was pretty close. Did they look good?

I think the tourney is a lock at this point. 7 more wins and we hit 20. I think we have 7 wins in us.

Look average. Cold behind the arc in the 1st half. Out rebounded almost 2-1. Shitty FT performance tonight and a couple runs of sloppy play.

Give ODU credit though, they played very tough defense and I won't say they shot lights out but they had a very good shooting night.

Nice win. I almost wish we would have lost it. If it wasn't our only non-con road game, I would have liked to see us lose. I feel like it would take some pressure off the players.

Couple of thoughts on the coaching. Haith has done a tremendous job this year, but I feel like he needs to understand when the game is slipping away and call a timeout.

Also, late in the game, we had only 4 fouls and a 5 point lead and about 25 seconds on the clock. I thought we should have used a couple of our fouls. Let them get to mid court, burn 3-4 seconds, and foul them. Then, they would have had to start the offense over, and we could have done the same thing. In a game this tight, burning 7 seconds or so off the clock could have made a big difference. You almost never see a coach think to do that, but little things like that can matter.

Good win, though. ODU always gives us fits.

Actually looking at the box svore ODU only shot 40% but they had more attempts. Just seemed their shots were very timely. MU ended up 7-17 from 3 land but I think most of those came in the 2nd half.

The stat that sticks out were offensive boards....16 for ODU and 9 for MU. They out rebounded us 51-34

the problem with fouling that way is making sure it's not a shooting foul. When we were up by 5 I was pretty much content with letting them score a quick 2 and getting the ball back and going to the line.

They aren't going to pull up at mid-court.

ODU actualyl made 1 more FG than we did and we made one more 3 then they did. But we made 8 more FT's than them. Getting to the line often has been a key to our success this year and we need to continue to do that.

Actually towards then end they drove the basket and we did foul and damn near gave them a shot at the 3 pt play. Maybe more considering they way they were out rebounding us. To where if we just let the guy score the 2, we are still up by 3 and we have the ball with 18 secs left and they have to foul us.

Great, great win. We found a way to win in a tough road game even when we didn't play a very good game. That is the type of experience you need before Big 12 play, and this is the type of physical team that will challenge us this year. Nice to see us hang on and stay undefeated before the OU game.

And to MU's defense, it was their 2nd straight away game and with X-mas break on and all that I could see where we could have easily dropped this one.

Kadeem Green played all of 1 minute. So we basically ran 7 guys out there all night and no one had more than 3 fouls. That is actually a positive considering the size of ODU and the way they were playing. We kept ourselves out of foul trouble and it paid off at the end of the game.

If I had to rank the Big 12 right now..

#1 Baylor
#2 MU\Kansas

Not really sure what to expect out of K-State this year.

Seems like many of the fouls they do call on Missouri, when they show them in slo mo the player had all ball and not a foul. Teams is so quick
