McCluster by all accounts has had a really good camp. Cool. I'll wait about a month to make my judgement.

One guy who we haven't heard much about this TC is Moeaki. Nervous about him.

What you need to know about …

The offense

Ryan Succop started practice by making six of his seven field goal attempts. His successful kicks were from 28, 32, 38, 41, 48 and 53 yards. He had a 41-yard field goal attempt go wide left. … Rarely used quarterback Alex Tanney had perhaps his best moment of the camp when he hit Brandon Kinnie deep down the right sideline. … Ricky Stanzi, who fumbled two days ago, couldn’t handle a snap from Lucas Patterson, and the ball ended up on the ground.

The defense

Jacques Reeves was the starting cornerback in place of Brandon Flowers. … Another defensive back, Mikail Baker, was beaten for touchdowns by Steve Maneri and Jon Baldwin. He got some revenge by breaking up a pass intended for Maneri, but Baker could have intercepted the pass. … Eric Berry, who returned an interception for a touchdown a day earlier, dropped one that he could have returned for a score.

Injury report

Cornerback Brandon Flowers (foot), safety Travis Daniels (hamstring), defensive back DeQuan Menzie (hip), linebacker Cameron Sheffield (groin), defensive lineman Ethan Johnson (head) and running back Cyrus Gray (hamstring) did not practice.

Daily battle

With Anthony Toribio holding down the starting spot at nose tackle and rookie Dontari Poe guaranteed to make the roster, the Chiefs face an interesting decision with their other nose tackle, Jerrell Powe. The Chiefs won’t bring Poe along too quickly, so they may keep Powe on their regular-season roster as injury insurance for Toribio.

Schedule

The Chiefs concluded training camp Thursday and have no practice on Friday. They will continue the preseason with Saturday night’s game against the Rams in St. Louis.

We are pretty banged up at the CB spot. Need to get them all healthy, so don't play them for a while.

yep. Where is the golden boy Jalil Brown? According to CP he was going to beat out Stanford Routt for a starting spot! I read that here!
