Let's help out Whitlock...

Let's help out Whitlock...

Did anybody else hear JW taking it to Gretz and the Chiefs yesterday? It was some of the best radio I have heard in a while.

He is putting together something for march 2nd. He is calling for everyone to get together and get after the pimple dicks at 1 Arrowhead Drive and I think we here at the forum should lend a hand. He wants for the Chiefs fans to be heard by the Chiefs and who better than to scream horrible things at someone than us?

He is organizing this thing from 2-6 on March 2nd and I think we should turn this into a forum outing.

Who's in?

Lets kick some ass or if not kick your ass

You guys really hate on Whitlock for some strange reasons.

Yeah, he's controversial and egotistical.

He's a damn editorial columnist and his job is to sell papers, which he does a damn fine job of.

He's been dead on about his assessment of Carl Peterson, Dick Vermeil and Ryan Sims.

The Chiefs need fans to show them that they aren't satisfied. Seriously, what team stands pat with a defense that's been horrible for 3 years? What team retains all of the assistant coaches on a defense that was near the bottom of the league again?

Below average play and mediocrity get rewarded in KC because fans will still fill the stadium, support the team in KC, and continue to make Lamar Hunt and Carl Peterson some mucho money despite the fact they haven't won a playoff game in 12 years.

Peterson holds his hat on regular season success that happened almost a decade ago. Since 1995, Peterson has had exactly 3 ten win seasons. 3. 1995, 1997, 2003.

It's disgusting, but the Chiefs FO, PR and everyone else affiliated is satisfied because the quota is met with the stadium filling up every week.

If you are going to continue to support the team, then Whitlock's march or whatever is necessary. It's necessary to send Carl, Dick, Lamar and every other chronie that calls One Arrowhead Drive home that the excuses and the problems have reached the boiling point with the fans.

Seriously, what NFL head coach blames the schedule for their losing record? The schedule is the last thing you blame when your defense can't tackle or cover anyone. No one gets held accountable because from the top to the bottom of the Chiefs everyone shuns the blame.

The Chiefs spend so much time talking about the "profile" as to why they didn't sign someone. They have assclowns like Rufus Dawes and Bob Gretz to write columns about how much of an evil free agency is and how silly it is to talk about a top defensive talent coming here.

This is why the Chiefs suck. They suck because they will spend more time trying to dash the fans hopes instead of repairing one of the worst defenses of all time.

If I lived in KC, I would be there with bells on. I will never ever change teams, but this garbage that they spew has started to cause my passion for the Chiefs to decline. I want people in this organization to start taking responsibility. Love him or hate him, Whitlock has a big voice in KC and he can be a ringleader to open eyes. I want to love the Chiefs again, but it's tough to do with Vermeil running the show with his built in excuses. Vermeil talks about LJ wearing diapers, but that man must wear 3 depends under his pants.

Face it, the Chiefs are on a level with the Cardinals, Bengals, Jets, Lions, Bears, and Saints. We talk about how piss poor these teams are, but are the Chiefs really any better? When you don't win a playoff game in over a century you deserve to be at the bottom of the pecking order.

Sorry for the rant, I took medicine tonight that was supposed to put me to sleep instead it was like I drank a case of Red Bull.

How much longer can we stand this? I'm pretty much at my ropes end.

The Bad Guy comes through! I 100 percent agree with you. I agree with Whitlock's take on a lot of things but not all. But in this case he is most certainly right. Go support the cause, not the person. I don't live in KC either, or i would be there.

Here here, Bad Guy. That puts it quite well. One of the things I had come to realize this year is the simple fact that the Chiefs pretty much suck. Yeah we have this great offense, but the defense more than made up for that. Then there were times where the offense looked like shit. Special teams were freakin' horrible. Every week, there were reasons why we lost, and I used to go over and over them in my head. Suddenly, it occured to me. The reason we lost so much this year is simply because we are not a good team, from top to bottom.

I'm with you. I'll never drop my Chiefs, but I hope they make some changes, because it is getting harder to take this year after year...

I think you are wrong about this. I believe that if hundreds of Chief fans show up under the same banner of "do something" this off season instead of sit on your hands will be noticed by the CEO/Presidente/GM. Pressure will be applied. Now whether it does any good who knows but it does force one arrowhead drive to consider an unhappy fan base.Whether King Carl will act differently, thats debatable. But it does change the playing field.
