Thanks, somebody gets it.

It's pathetic that the media has couched this as a humanitarian effort tho save the poor horse, when in reality it was a money grab by its' owners who stand to make bazillions on "Sons of Barbaros'" for decades to come. For those crying over the horse, get a life.

PS - I love animals as much or more than anyone else.

Someone did make a great point that this animal received far better medical care than half of the children in the US... I for one am glad he is out of his misery.

Why did we get this one stuffed down our throat for damn near a year?

Quick call the police. Have them arrest the person that physically forced you to reenter this thread, or read a single news item about it, or watch a single broadcast. If you're not interested then move along. It's a quite simple process.

As for money spent or time invested, what's it to you? It's not your money. Outside of the time you spent being forced to read/hear about it, none of your time is involved.

Humans > Animals even CP posters

Sometimes and with some people I have my doubts.

I find humor in the people who act like this horse was an integral part of your lives. It was an animal, genetically engineered to have small, thin bones so it could run fast, which coincidently makes its bones brittle.

this animal was treated better than most people its entire life. In nature, a tree would have sprouting on the buzzard turds it became a year ago.

Its hardly a tragedy.

I said that it received better medical treatment than "many places and stations in this country." There are humans who don't have access to that standard of care, it is true. I didn't say "better than half the children in this country", which would indeed be a bunch of BS.

I mean, on a national level so many people are worried that there is this deadly health care scarcity epidemic, but here we have hundreds of thousands, if not millions, being pumped into a horse that can't stand up. If Barbaro had been some nameless old nag - it would have gotten the needle a long time ago. Having baows that are a goldmine pays off I guess.
