Attention Huard Haters......

Think Thigpen is the best option to help us win?

Todays game clearly showed us exactly why Herm's philosophy hurts this team more than it does good.

Couldn't agree more homes...this season is about improving a young team to play well into the future. It's not about an aging QB on his last leg.

Thigpen has a ton more talent than Huard but doesn't know how to play the game. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. Pick your poison.

Thigpen didn't improve a single bit as the game went on they just found something that finally hurt the Falcons D and it had nothing to do with Thigpen. The fact that Thigpen was doing somewhat well then throws 2 pics towards the end tells me that he hasn't improved. Put in a veteran cause we've seen what Thigpen does, now its time to see Huard for more than 2 series. If you're one of those guys who believes that putting in Huard will hurt our chances of getting a high draft pick then just F off. I'm tired of hearing about it, throw the season get the highest draft pick we can, go route for another team then, we're not the 1-15 dolphins of last year and when Croyle comes back we will win games so get ready for us no to have the worst record in football. The funny thing is I don't have to prove my case of Huard over Thigpen, Thigpen is doing a fine job of doing that himself.

I don't want Quitter to start either. I wanted a solid NFL basckup. A "real" one like Joey Harrington or Phil Simms as a stop gap till Crouyle gets back. Huard or thigpin will never be our future so there is no backpeddling on rebuilding.

thigpen doesn't look like he is accurate enough for the NFL.

but i dont need to see more from Huard. even if thigpen is a 1 in 10 shot to even be a competent backup, we might as well check our lottery ticket rather than going with the known mediocre quantity.

i would like to see martin get a game or a quarter or half or something once he's had some more time to learn the playbook. let's at least see if he can make the throws.

2008 is a 20 game preseason. winning games is secondary to getting young players snaps and evaluating who is going to be on the roster next year

At this rate we could sign Andre Woodson and start him 2 days later and it wouldn't be any worse.

Yup, teams dump QB's even if they are "winning" if they know that QB can't win in the playoff's against better teams. Huard is the guy you bring in when your starting QB goes out with an injury and you need to keep the ship going for the rest of the game, and pray your starter is ready for the next game.
