Strange. If the same incident happened in KC, people would be crying tears of joy and dying from celebratory over drinking.

I especially like TJ's thread a day before Shanahan gets fired telling all the Shanhan haters to get it out of there system because Mike was going to be around for a long time.

TJ really sucks at football predictions. Has he ever predicted anything right?

...please. We know you want to get rid of Mike Shanahan, so go ahead and get it out of your system now. Pretty soon, though, it's going to be clear that Shanahan is going nowhere, and the focus will no longer be on whether Shanahan should be here or not, but what happens next.

So get it out now, but please - when that focus shifts to reality, lets keep the discussion on the moves the Broncos are making, and not the man, and have a productive offseason of discussion.

It's the closest NFL franchise to his new home in Denver. It's not inconceivable that he'd want to coach somewhere close to his new home.

I can see why. You guys have a vacancy, and nobody talks about it or even seems to notice that it exists. We have a vacancy, and they stop the world to cover the press conference, and spend the next two weeks talking about who is going to fill this most prestigious spot in the league. I'd hate you guys too if the situations were reversed.

If you would pay a little closer attention, the vacancy does not officially exist yet. We all know it will, but it hasn't happened yet.

Herm Edwards is still a head coach of an NFL team, and Shannahan isn't. This makes it very newsworthy, since there was almost no speculation that this would happen in Denver.
