Anything can happen, so I won't completely rule it out, although I think this hire(TB Squirrel) would suck ass and yes, it's well-known about Herm and his Tampa Bay days. My point was, Herm didn't seem real confident that he would be back and given his record, I would say it's highly unlikely he will be back, barring this fruitcake of a move.

If youdon't get fired after going 2-14, nobody should ever get fired.

Syntax is confusing. See from context that 'people' expect Edwards to be fired in the future. On it's face it looks like Edwards himself has already expected to be fired.

So somebody with first hand knowledge of Herm's coaching
would want to keep him on - with their reputation at stake
-follow through is not a Chiefsplanet staple

Ya know that's probably one of Herm's bigger problems as a Chief. Did anyone ever feel this guy bled red and gold for lack of a better term? Always talking about Tampa Bay and calling one of the oldest rivalries in football "just another game". And not in a good way "just another game" as in we're going to approach it the same as we we any other team.

Herm....GET THE **** OUT!!! Seriously, just go. Why are you prolonging both your agony and ours?

You suck. Go.

Well said, he actually probably has more of an emotional investment in Oakland. I despise this guy.

But none of that was Herm's fault.

Herm made the playoffs with DV's team, but it was DV's team that caused the 4-12 season.

The kids don't know how to execute, or make plays, is all Herm could come up with, after reviewing the 2-14 tapes.

The Chiefs are so fortunate to have Herm Edwards.

If the Morris dude leaves Tampa for the head coaching job in Denver or where ever, I forsee Herm going back to Tampa as D coordinator. Gun would make a great LB coach for him as well.
The only one I'd like to see kept is the Gibbs coach.
