Your Thoughts on why Lelie was cut...
Lelie made 3 of the longest catches in the Chiefs preseason... and Im actually surprised that he was cut, when you consider how shitty our WR corps is.

Was he shitty in practice?

I'm not sure why he was cut... when our WR's suck so much ass.

He was a wuss in Denver. Yes he's fast but he got gator arms every time he went over the middle. Doesn't sound like he changed much since they cut him a couple of years ago. I thought that kind of attitude wouldn't go very far with this regime but was hoping he had gotten better. Apparently it hadn't.

I think this is probably spot on. With his history, to make the team he had to shine. He didn't do terrible on the field, but he wasn't anything spectaular.

I'd say in the bigger picture--we were looking for that speed guy to stretch the field. Some of the talk was about him with this, but there was also talk about that being why we had Lawrence.

Lawrence was crappy at times (especially with the dropsies), but it seems to be teachable stuff (put him on the jugs machine, etc.) You take a vet who was supposed to be at one time spectacular but never lived up to it vs. a rook that has problems with some aspects of his game but can be corrected--I'd go with the potential over the never-really-has-been.

JMO.
