Computer question

My wife plays some games at a site that uses a lot of animation and her computer sometimes freezes up.

Is there a game software she can download to improve her computer's performance?

Or is there another solution, short of buying a new computer, to this problem.

Yes, if you have a system restore point before the time she compacted the mailbox, then that will likely work. Keep in mind that any messages or contacts she has created after the date of the system restore point will probably be lost. But that is dependent on what type of e-mail account she has. Either way, it can't hurt.

Also keep in mind that a system restore could also wipe out any new programs or drivers that have been installed since that system restore point too. If you haven't made any drastic changes with software or settings lately other than compacting messages, that won't be an issue.
