dang OP you need to read what you allow and don't allow. Can't complain that Zune is the default, when the pop-up notification ask simply do you want to make zune the default yes or no. IDK, but if you have kids I'd tell them do it or no xbox or playstation lolz.

Actually, it appears the Zune software does NOT ask to be the default player upon installation. I just reinstalled it and was not presented with any option.

So, capone...suck my balls.

That hack still works?

It does ask because I had to remove it from being the default settings.

You know how I know?

Because I can click on a video in my rig and the zune software doesnt pop up.

You know how I managed that?

I SET IT UP SO ZUNE WAS NOT THE DEFAULT PLAYER.

So, Wendy... suck my dick.

I know my install asked if I wanted it to be the default player.

You're UPDATED to the latest version but did you take the latest install file and run it on a Zuneless PC?

There were absolutely NO options to check when I installed. I am on W7.

I also am on W7 and yes, I installed on a zuneless PC.

Would you like to make a wager?

OK you two, break out the webcams and do a simultaneous install with a file from the exact same location.

lol

if it makes him feel any better, I get the option on the initial install only, even if I uninstall and reinstall after a reboot. Must write something into the registry.

Regardless, simply go into settings>file types> deselect all (by hand) and hit ok and zune is no longer your default.

For someone who spends a lot of time on the computer you sure do have a ton of difficulty with them.

Wager or no?
