Marshall strained hamstring

Sorry if a repost...

Brandon Marshall injury

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)

Just what the Broncos didn't need heading into the biggest game of the season. CBS4 Broncos Insider Gary Miller reports that receiver Brandon Marshall strained his right hamstring during Wednesday's practice.

The injury occurred during the early moments of practice that is open to the media. Marshall was running a route when he came up limping. He went to the sideline where he was tended to by the Broncos training staff. He did not return to the field before the media's time to watch practice ended.

The extent of the injury or his status going forward to Sunday's game is unknown at this point. The Broncos are required to issue an injury report after today's practice.

I think I remember this team being down this road before, and it is full of potholes.

Rebuilding sucks ass, especially when you keep starting over. But I will have my ass firmly planted in front of the TV, for every minute of it.

This has been the longest offseason I can remember, let the bloodletting begin.

I'm mentally preparing for a Denver win and then everything else NOT to go their way... and then there will be crazy enjoyment on this forum by many of you.

It's good to "level set" my expectations and hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Both our teams need to do well in the upcoming draft. Win or lose I won't take Sunday's game too seriously as I will be watching it with a cold one in my hand in Ft. Myers, FL.

I won't speak for KC because I'm not as intimately familiar with the team and the improvements overall (or lack thereof) from 2008. But, with Denver.. while it may only be a 1 game improvement, I do like the construction and focus of this team much more than what they had in 2007 and 2008.

Next year will be interesting because of the labor issues and the impact on how players are listed in FA, but overall I think they made nice strides with all the change and they have a strong foundation to build upon.

Ft. Myers? If that was me, the DVR would be on, and I would be teeing it up some place.

The last time I was really excited about the last game of the season, it was the end of Herm's first year. I attended the Chief's game.
The 49ers completed the lottery sweep by beating the Broncos at Invesco, to allow Herm to back into the playoffs with DV's players.
Herm's wife had to tell him, since he was playing Leggos with the kids.

Of course, he immediately shit the bed, and diffused all enthusiasm for the next couple years.

Oh, and the Cutler trade with the Bears has given me much enthusiasm for a Bears victory each week.

Normally I would be Raider hating, laughing at them when I could, and not so hard on the Broncos. After all of Knowshits AFCW champ,HOF for Mcdipshit, and Lombardi trophy stacking shit I've heard all year,I have never wanted a team to crash and burn so bad in all my life.So good luck Sunday(but not really) I hope win, lose or draw, you still don't make it to the playoffs.
