Just saw a post on the UA board that Mort saying that Pete is likely headed back to the NFL. That's pretty big news for both the NFL and College football, if true.

That is a rather myopic view that many would say is clouded by being a fan of USC.

On a side note, I don't think in this day and age you can ever say a coach will "never get fired." See Bowden, Bobby. Who thought Bowden was going to be pushed out the door against his own terms even five years ago?
