League's punishment to Denver
I didn't want to bury this question in one of the other threads.
Since they've already been fined, they've obviously already been found at least somewhat guilty. The fine ($100k) seems like a slap on the wrist to everyone I've heard voice an opinion on this. I understand there is more than likely more to come, but I'm worried the league isn't going to go as far as they should because Denver isn't really doing much. The comedy in all of this is the fact that Denver is 3-7, but that's what leads to my question. If Denver was 9-1 right now, or hell even in playoff contention, is the punishment (in the end) more severe? If so, what would you expect from the league? |
