-- Please use this thread to recommend items at the Hyvee or whichever is your grocer

I was thinking it may be cool to exchange food feedback on foods you've tried, maybe newer products or classic foods...

include drinks, milk brand preferences, if you like.

Snack cakes are cool, if you like the Walmart bakery's cream horns, let's ****ing hear about it!

It can be junk food or healthy, both are open for any discussions or recommendations.

here are a few that easily come to mind w/o thinking about it too hard:

These are a staple in casa cdcox. I give you Egg Thing:

Get a good mess of hash browns going according to the Simply Potato package. Use a 12" non-stick skillet. Style points for a clean flip of the hash brown.

When the hash browns are done, sprinkle some shredded sharp cheddar, and some chopped ham over half of the hash browns. Fold the hash brown in half to melt the cheese. In the vacated half of the skillet pour in 3 to 5 well beaten eggs and scramble. After the eggs are cooked mash together the eggs and the hash brown/cheese/ham.

Serve, while singing:

Egg Thing...
You make my heart sing...
Egg Thing...
I think I looove you. But I wanna know for sure.

Heinz Simply Ketchup optional but recommended.

I don't think I've ever seen a Hy-Vee. Is that a midwest chain?

I normally nail the clean flip, but tonight it was like a Matt Cassel pass hitting the cross bar.
