Peyton Manning to visit Denver TONIGHT to meet with Donks
Peyton Manning will be in Denver tonight visiting with the Broncos, according to two NFL sources.

This is getting serious, folks.

Manning, arguably the most decorated free agent in NFL history, has the Broncos on his short list. The long-time Indianapolis Colts quarterback was released earlier this week amid concerns about his neck, a $26 million bonus payment and the team's opportunity to select highly prized quarterback Andrew Luck with the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft.

Manning, 36, has been cleared to throw by his neck specialist, Dr. Robert Watkins. One NFL source said Manning will also visit the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins after visiting with the Broncos. A source said Manning would like to make a decision by Tuesday, the first day of free agency.

The Broncos' top brass of John Elway, coach John Fox and general manager Brian Xanders, are currently in Stillwater, Okla., watching the Oklahoma State Pro Day workout that features quarterback Brandon Weeden.

The Broncos have the No. 25 pick in the draft, plus the 25th selection in the second round. Weeden, who turns 29 in October, is considered the second-best passer to Luck in the draft and has been projected to go between the Broncos' top two picks.

Manning will turn 36 in two weeks.

If Manning goes to the Donks, I'll probably not tune into ESPN until 2015. (the only exception being if we trade up for RG3, which is probably a pipe-dream)

I see Manning as the kind of guy who would schedule the first visit with a team who is not the front-runner on his list. Kind of test the process with 3rd or 4th choice. Then use the expericence to refine things with the top 2 choices.

Probably just wishful thinking on my part, but I'm going with it. Would love him to become a Chief, but definately do not want him to be a Bronco even more.

Hopefully, this is just part of the process... my hope is that they're expressing interest for a few reasons. Appease the fans that want them to consider PM and then drive up the price potentially for a team like KC.

Outside of that... I just don't believe this is the circus that I would like to go through right now or in the near term.
