Survivor Planet II: Game 1

This game is brought to you by Gonzo.

I got tired of waiting and decided we needed to move forward here. Joey's busy with other things so when he decides to join us, I'll hand over the keys.

Game 1:

We will start off a little light, and I can probably guarantee this will be damn funny.

Both teams will need to turn on their artistic talent for this one. I want a hand-drawn Fisty McTatt.

The background counts, so place him somewhere funny. The whole picture doesn't have to be hand-drawn, (Fisty does, though) but if you do draw the background, you may score some Originality Points.
Points will be given for Originality, Accuracy, Participation and for the giggle factor so take your time.

You have until Sunday night at 5:00 PM Central to have this finished.
You may submit one per player, (I thought about making it a team effort but in the end, I want to see a lot of pics so **** it).

You may work together on this so if someone has skills with photo-shop, lean on them to help out. Just remember, I want a pic from each contestant by Friday night. No excuses.
I will come up with the scoring parameters later today.

Here's the link to the original thread if you need some ideas:

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=256360

Good luck guys!

PM me or post in here with questions.

Scoring:

Each category can fetch up to 5 points.
Here they are:

1. Accuracy (How well you draw Fisty)

2. Originality (The background and what Fisty is doing in the picture)

3. Humor (Self explanatory)

4. Participation (How many team members submitted pics by percentage. 10-20% = 1 point, 20-40% = 2 points and so on)

Only a suggestion, but, in order to make it more of a team effort (since we actually have teams this time), wouldn't it make more sense to submit one picture per team? They each have their collaboration thread. They could decide as a team to have one person do it, or they could each work on part of it (one person could start then another team member could take it and tweak it, and so on until they have a picture to submit that the team agrees on).

Since we only have so many judges, then it might be easier if we just do a majority vote on the two submissions.

Like I said, just a thought.

Losing team, of course, votes off a member.

I was originally going to do it that way, but I thought if they all worked together on individual pics, then we score each pic and tally the point total it would be damn funny. Seeing each persons version of Fisty will be a riot.
I totally want them all to work together on their pics, (which the Vets are doing) but seeing how creative each member gets will be awesome.

Wait until you see the next game I'm preparing for them.

I think the n00bs are trying that too, but it seems that someone has locked their thread.

That's just mean.

Gonzo: Luv's idea about us doing another drawing contest, (like we did w/ the "monsters"), would be cool later on down the road. Perhaps we could do something like that after a few participants get voted off?

Not quite what I meant, but that was fun, too.

I guess I read your post wrong. I just read that each person works on a portion of the picture and I immediately thought about the "monster" contest. That was pretty funny!

Your method might eliminate scaling issues though as we would be able to line up our "parts" w/ the rest of the artwork.

Kind of. It would be like it you took the face that Dartgod did, and then Pest took that and worked on a body to go with it, and then you took that, and then created the background to go with it. Or if Dartgod did the whole thing, and then you took it and made a few adjustments (tweaking some lines, shapes, or colors). This is opposed to everyone doing their own thing and then trying to fit the pieces together.

Then, not that you would lose, but if you did, then you could always vote off the member you feel did the poorest job or is just a weak link in general. I think I'm thinking in terms of the actual Survivor instead of the CP rules, whatever those may be at any given time.

The thing with Cp survivor is that we give out already one immunity per challenge, so individual effort is still a top priority.
