Picked him up off the street for nothing, and let Dex sign for decent money elsewhere. One of Dorsey's better decisions.

We should cut Bowe this year just to save ourselves from the cap hit next year. His lack of effort on the field is stunning. And the drops.

Trade his ass as soon as you can. Try to anyway because for us he is worthless and clearly does not give two Damns about being good.

From what I can gather on Joe McKnight, there were several things that led to him not working out for the Jets.

1. The Jets at some point tried to pull a KC Chiefs and bring a guy in who plays one position, and then try to shoehorn him into another one. McKnight, clearly suited to play HB/KR/PR was thrust into the Jets secondary as a prospect for CB. Didn't work.

2. McKnight wasn't in the best physical shape. The running joke is that if McKnight had to do anything physically strenuous, he would need to puke afterwards.

3. McKnight had injuries pretty often that held him back from practices, and games. He has the physical talents, but often struggled with the mental aspect of the game. The only way to get better at that is with reps, and you don't get reps if your ass is in the trainers room.

Andy Reid touched on a few of these things in his post game press conference, talking about the reason we hadn't seen McKnight to this point, and the reason was basically that he wasn't ready. He had some injury issues he was working through, and trying to get back into football shape.

Reid said that after one of McKnight's TD's yesterday, he said to him as he came to the sideline "You're back."

Im glad the guy is getting another shot. He made some good plays for us in that game, and the WCO is suited perfectly for a guy who can do what he can do out of the backfield. I would say that if anyone had to take their pads off in order for him to see the field, it should be Dwayne Bowe.

With Bowe's suspension lifting the guarantee off of some of the cash in his contract, he needs to be jettisoned after this season. Apparently Bowe just doesn't mesh well with the WCO, or he simply doesn't give a shit after he got paid.

When a guy like McKnight can come out of nowhere and put up more plays and TDs than your bloated contract WR, that receiver needs to GTFO.

Might start cutting some of his snaps now, and getting a WR like Wilson more involved... see if he can create a spark... and it sends Bowe a message.

I thought Bowe had worked harder than ever in the offseason?

Still waiting for Bowe to go all Megatron on the competition.

Yeah I anytime I saw him on the Jets (which was only a few times) he seemed to be a pretty good player.

I said all offseason I was looking forward to watching him in Reid's offense. He's a perfect complimentary player for us with his ability to catch out of the backfield.

Those RB seam tosses are a thing of beauty.

I'd like to see more of those, specifically with Jamaal.

Yes. Charles/Davis/McKnight/Kelce down the seam would all be good things for this team.

I like Mcknight a lot I like the way he moves and runs and takes contact.

His touchdown plays were major dumb errors by the other team though. Really stupid play calls and execution... I wouldn't get too excited yet.
