Ha! There are many complaints that can be made as a Chiefs fan, but to claim the defense is mediocre is laughable, at best.

7th in points allowed with 19.4 pts/game allowed.

Pittsburgh's defense may be short Bud Dupree next week, as he may end up in jail on criminal charges after the hit he just put on Matt Moore.

The NFL is in a very, very bad state, so it might be a little above average, but it is by NO means a strong defense. It relies on opponent mistakes and big plays. Big Ben is not the type of QB who's going to let our D make him look bad, as other QBs have done. And we give up alllllllllllll kinds of rushing yards against FAR worse backs than Bell.

So yeah. Good luck with that.

If the Chiefs hold the Steelers to around 24 or under, that's a heck of a job. If Alex Smith can't score that many points at home, we don't deserve a sniff of the AFCCG.

As I predicted at the start of the season, the Chiefs skip the wild card and are thrown to the curb by Pittsburgh.

Big Rape is going back to the Bowl this year.

The rushing may be concerning, but when the field shortens, the defense holds their own. They may give up a decent amount of yards between the 20's, but that doesn't matter. Let them chew up the clock and kick field goals. As long as we can match 1 TD for every 2 FGs, we'll be fine.

To be the best, you have to beat the best. Bring them on.

It's pretty hard to imagine a reality in which an Alex Smith-led Chiefs team beats the Steelers.

they may play like champions at home but their road numbers are very pedestrian.

In the playoffs, usually, if your team gets to within 2 games of a Super Bowl, your going to be playing a good team. That's kind of a given. Bring on the 3 B's!

I was just texting back and forth with TinyEvel and told him that the only thing that really concerns me about the Steelers is that they are a fast, physical team and that we're a fast, finesse team. We tend to struggle with physical.

That, and we gotta hope Andy doesn't Andy. If he doesn't stay aggressive 100% of the time, we'll be down 3 scores in the blink of an eye.
