Tamba is ABSOLUTELY on this team.

I would be absolutely shocked if he wasn't.

Conspiracy theory is they've held him out of everything hoping another team has an injury and will trade for him?

That's nice and everything, but who are your passrushers if Ford goes down?

Kpassagnon isn't remotely ready. Zombo can't play against NFL left tackles.

How good will tamba be without stepping foot in the field this long?

He never practices much anyway...

Also if Ragland and Eligwe hit what they could hit, the Chiefs may have solved the gaping MLB issue they're about to have without using high picks, that'd be a hell of a deal.

I think they're good at ILB. Pierre Louis looks like a solid one as well

I'm assuming Hali is kept around for that reason, Houstons been awfully injury prone to not have a backup there.

QB: Smith, Mahomes, Bray
RB: Hunt, West, Spiller
FB: Sherman

WR: Hill, Conley, Robinson, DAT, Chesson, Kemp
TE: Kelce, Harris

OT: Fisher, Schwartz, Erving
G: LDT, Witzmann, Fulton, Ehinger,
C: Morse, Devey

Offense: 24

DE: Jones, Bailey, Jenkins, Kpassagnon
DT: Logan, Nunez-Roches

OLB: Houston, Ford, Zombo
ILB: DJ, Wilson, Eligwe, KPL, Ragland

CB: Peters, Mitchell, Nelson, Gaines, Bausby
S: Berry, Parker, Sorensen, Murray

K: Santos
P: Colquitt
LS: Winchester

Defense: 27

PUP: Nicolas, Hali

I have three roster spots open: 3rd TE, OLB, DE

I just didn't see enough from Escobar or Travis in order for them to make the 53. It's impossible for me to believe that they can't find an upgrade to either on the wire. Same for Roy Miller III. They'll eat $300k but I've seen nothing that says he should be on the 53.

The Hali thing is a complete mystery. I'd leave him on PUP for now and bring in someone via trade or off the wire.

I also have a feeling the Chiefs will make a few trades of their own. Wilson and DAT could bring back late round picks and maybe a team is desperate enough to trade for DJ White and S. Jones.

This will be a very interesting weekend.

Not expecting him to "ascend over the course of the season," anymore?:
