A quick review of franchise history shows that Chiefs QBs have exceeded 1200 yards in a four-game stretch 16 times. Many of these are four-game segments of longer streaks, as you'll see below. This is only the seventh season where it has occurred.

Patrick Mahomes II's streak is notable because it features (among these 16 streaks)...

the most TD passes (14, second place is Bill Kenney's 10 between weeks 12 and 15 of 1983
the highest QB rating (126.5, second place is Trent Green's 116.1 between weeks 5 and 8 of 2004
the fewest interceptions (0, tied with Alex Smith's 0 between weeks 4 and 7 of 2017)
the second-fewest sacks (5, beaten only by Joe Montana's 3 between weeks 3 and 6 of 1994)
the youngest QB (age 22 at beginning, second place is Bill Kenney who was 28 in 1983).

Week Week Year Yds
8 11 Elvis Grbac 2000 1463
7 10 Trent Green 2004 1450
6 9 Elvis Grbac 2000 1400
7 10 Elvis Grbac 2000 1388

12 15 Bill Kenney 1983 1365
5 8 Trent Green 2004 1342
6 9 Trent Green 2004 1338
8 11 Trent Green 2004 1269

7 10 Bill Kenney 1983 1263
6 9 Trent Green 2003 1247
6 9 Bill Kenney 1983 1243
9 12 Trent Green 2004 1240
3 6 Joe Montana* 1994 1239
9 12 Bill Kenney 1983 1238
4 7 Alex Smith 2017 1205
1 4 Patrick Mahomes 2018 1200

So yes, I would agree that this is the greatest QB streak in franchise history.

I don't know how anyone could think otherwise...

Sincerely... I hope you guys enjoy the ride. If you do indeed have 12-15 years of sustained greatness, don't screw up your enjoyment of the games and the career with over-inflated hopes and dreams of a title now and every year.

Know what I mean? There are so many posts out there about different things and I get it, I totally get it. Just enjoy the ride ... that's my lone advice. Enjoy the process of watching this QB and this offense mature and rewrite record books. He's fun to watch, I'll easily admit.

You guys have screamed for a QB like this for decades... you have him, enjoy him.
