Let's Rank Our Top 3 Regular Season Games

Hey, ya'll. I'm proctoring students taking tests remotely today and it's about as exhilarating as it sounds. During my lunch break I saw a tweet from Chiefs posting the "Sights and Sounds" from the Chiefs win against the Vikings this year. When I watched this, I realized I forgot just how good of a game this was. Not only that, we were starting Matt Moore, expectations before the game were low, and little did we know, but the game would be the difference between a first round bye and a WC matchup against the Titans (Likely making our road Titans, @Patriots, @Ravens).

This game was stellar. Matt Moore was ****ing nails and his two deepballs to Tyreek were beyond anything we could have expected from back-up QB (and a high school coach at the beginning of the season). Damien Williams pulled off his most impressive run in a Chiefs uniform (an 85 yard run where he put a disgusting juke on a Vikings defender to hit paydirt), though, it's mostly remembered for Tyreek catching him like an Olympian. That run completely shifted the momentum in the game. The Chiefs D also came up with two critical 4th quarter stops (a prelude to the SB) and Buttkicker hit a 54 yarder like Stoyo once did in what was considered one of the best Chiefs wins of all time (before Mahomes) and hit a game winning 44 yarder at the end. Watching this again made me realize that I'd forgotten some of our amazing regular season wins this year and made me want to re-evaluate them.

So... what are your top 3 regular season wins this year (I included the losses in the poll. As some argue losing to the Titans was one of the best things we could have done this year because otherwise, Seattle claims Suggs over us and we may not win the SB without him).

Mine:

3. Week 14 @Patriots 23-16 W (God, did it feel good to finally get that off our backs)
Spoiler!

2. Week 9 Vikings 26-23 W (I just can't put a game without Mahomes as the top regular season game - with that said, Matt Moore is an unsung hero of the season)
Spoiler!

1. Week 3 Ravens 33-28 W (This win cemented the Chiefs as the top team in the AFC and puts Mahomes, Reid and the Chiefs as the presumptive AFC favorites over Lamar, Harbaugh and Baltimore imho).
Spoiler!

The Broncos in week 7 would be a good choice if not for the fact that Mahomes hurt his knee which potentially put the entire season in jeopardy. There were no positive feelings to be had coming out of that game.

I messed up and chose the Chargers in Mexico City and I meant to pick the Patriots game. I chose 3 based on how memorable they were for me personally.

#1 - Week 17 - Beating the Chargers and watching Fitzmagic topple the Patriots in Foxborough, giving us the first round bye. I was so damn excited and happy after that.

#2 - Week 14 - Ending the Brady era by beating the Patriots in Foxborough. Everyone thought with Brady and their defense that they were a juggernaut that couldn't be stopped. We all knew they were frauds of the highest order who feasted on a joke of a schedule. The Patriots fell apart after this and now they're OVER. This also got rid of 98% of the Pats trolls forever. This maybe should be #1 now that I think about it...

#3 - Week 15 - Patrick Mahomes proving he's the god damn abominable snowman by shredding Denver at snowy Arrowhead. Just pure jubilation that entire day. I had to throw that pair of boxer briefs away immediately after the game.

Probably Patriots, Ravens and Vikings or Lions.

But in terms of sheer entertainment, nothing beats that 2nd quarter in Oakland.

Can't beat weeks 13-15. That 3 game stretch was just so god damned satisfying, beating the ass of our 3 worst enemies. Honorable mention goes to week 17 where the Dolphins helped us snag the 2 seed. That shit was amazing.

It goes without saying but I loved every game we won.

i went baltimore, new england, and the final game against the chargers. without those three wins, we didn't have home field advantage.

not only that, but we ****ed the patriots three times with these games

Beating Raiders and Broncos twice humiliating them each time we played

If I can't vote for those four i'm not voting.

I had

Ravens: It allowed us to prove that we were still the better team

Patriots: Official passing of the torch

Bears: Loved watching Bears fans squirm as Mahomes dominated Trubisky. Nothing better than reminding them of what could have been.

As much as I hate to like a loss, the Titans game made both the staff and team wake up. The aftermath was the difference between being a pretty good team and a SB champion. I always love curb-stomping the Raiders at home. I hate those SOBs. For my last choice, I had to go with beating Hoodie and Tommyboy at Gillette. The angst on those yankees faces is always satisfying. Looking back, it's even more gratifying to know they'll be a 6-10 team for awhile.
