VARSITY
I mean, I recognize he's always been a receiving TE first, that much is obvious.

I'm more asking - if the plan is for him to be exclusively used as a receiver instead of the ~75/25 that he's been - would dropping some bulk to improve his speed be more beneficial, or would the reduction in bulk make him more prone to injury and therefore be less beneficial.

Would it help or hurt Kelce to change up his body a bit heading into this year? Ex - if he is looking to gain some speed, would it be to his benefit to drop 10-15 lbs and be utilized less as a blocker and more in the slot?
Let's have him not chase Taylor around the globe all offseason while having Bobby Stroupe work him into shape before the season begins.

He’s…playing on that mega cap hit? This has Clark Hunt written all over it. I’m not usually a big Clark Hunt is cheap poster but in this scenario he is. Open your wallet and help lower his cap hit this year.

The only Chiefs who should be sporting a gut in training camp are DTs, OL, and Coach Reid.

You don't pay an almost 36-year-old non-QB player 19 mil. Only way to justify that is a ring this coming season.

They're paying him that because of all the years he was underpaid it's called doing him a solid.
