Alexander Douglas Smith: 2016

We wouldn't we want to roll out another Alex Smith thread?!?!? Listen, for the Clay haters, this will probably be the thread that gets him banned. He can't help himself, right? Let's go!!!

First off, as many of you know, I have been very critical of Alexander Douglas Smith. Wasn't happy with the trade, HATED the extension, and have burned him to the ground from the beginning. So ****ing sick of the retread QB's.

So, that said Alex Smith is my Daddy. I mean, I just have to own that at this point. Here's why. He's never had continuity in a system. That guy had a new offensive coordinator just about every year until Jim Harbaugh showed up. And he flashed a little bit. That said, it sure looks like San Fran traded their best QB to us in favor of some douche that's starting some thing all over the league, while riding the bench to a guy named Blaine Gabbert.

Alex is now in his 4th year of the same system and it's showing. He's getting better. Why is he my daddy now all of a sudden though? Because he proved that he's more than just a game manager. He made some ****ing incredible throws against the Chargers last week. The back shoulder Maclin throw, the Maclin throw where Jeremy was almost killed, The Spencer Ware throws. Twice he hit him downfield (like, way more than 8 yards!), and then finally the Kelce throws.

People can give Spencer Ware a lot of credit, he is deserving of it after the monster game he had. Make no mistake about it though, Alexander Douglas Smith personally put this team on his back and willed them to victory. 1 play at a time. 1 throw at a time. He's a leader, and it reflected in the locker room after that game. They trust Alex now. They trust that he has what it takes to will them to victory in any game.

Alex isn't just a game manager anymore. He's a game changer, and a leader. This team could go 6-10 this year and I'll say the same thing. He has the ability and he's proven it. Now let's see where they go with it. I'm officially a YUGE Alex fan. What do you think? I'll take your comments off air.

Alex Smith won't take a chance like that.

Just the way it is, folks.

Time for the weekly edition of TEN THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU!

1. Pitiful ****ing throw, late and nowhere near the receiver. Chiefs punt because of this crap. I'm sure some asshole is going to say Alex is throwing this away. Bollocks.

Spoiler!

2. Shit throw, Alex. Chiefs settle for a field goal because of this crap. I'm sure some asshole is going to say Maclin should have made a Sportscenter Top 10 highlight catch. As you can see in the still, he barely even TOUCHED the ball it was so poorly thrown.

Spoiler!

3. Clean pocket! Step up and hold onto that ball and get sacked, reerun! And ignore that open receiver in the flat! Pitiful. Chiefs punt because of this crap.

Spoiler!

4. Would you like to get points before the half? No? OK. Chiefs don't get points because of this crap. I'm sure some asshole is going to say Alex was pressured. We know sometimes it is scary to play QB in the NFL.

Spoiler!

5. The VERY next play is Alex's pitiful fumble. Chiefs don't get points because of this crap. Note that he had THREE open receivers. And don't say he was trying to avoid fumbling by attempting a pass because HE PUMP FAKED and HE FUMBLED ANWAY! ASFGRESKSDGKSDKJSD~!~!###%#RFDEGIJVFDS!!!!

Spoiler!

6. 4th quarter now. Pitiful, piece of crap throw to Conley. Alarmingly bad. Chiefs settle for a FG because of this crap.

Spoiler!

7. It's time for the weekly edition of HOLD THE BALL TOO LONG SHIT YOUR PANTS AND LET IT RUN DOWN YOUR LEG!

Spoiler!

8. LOOK WHO WAS WIDE ****ING OPEN FOR A TOUCHDOWN ON THIS PLAY. CHIEFS SETTLE FOR A FIELD GOAL BECAUSE OF THIS CRAP.

Spoiler!

9. HOLD THE BALL TOO LONG SHIT YOUR PANTS AND LET IT RUN DOWN YOUR LEG IS NOW A BI-WEEKLY AFFAIR! LITERALLY ON THE NEXT SNAP!

Spoiler!

10. CHRIS CONLEY IS WIDE ****ING OPEN FOR A TOUCHDOWN YOU ASSHOLE.

Spoiler!

FIN

Spoiler!

^Great post. Some truly pathetic QBing going on.

There was one play where, IIRC, Ware broke wide open on a wheel route that would have resulted in at least a half a football field gain, but Alex ignored him.

You remember this play at all?

No. I looked at every pass. Maybe All 22 will show that.

Sure you're not thinking of the missed TD?

Leave it to Clay to expect Smith to "throw it to the flat" when you can't see in his gif the linebacker is right there.

Leave it to Clay to criticize Smith for missing Conley when if you watched the game, the announcer even said that with Watt's arm reaching out he couldn't follow thru on his throw...

Did Smith miss some throws? Absolutely. Does Clay suck at life? you got it. Did Maclin drop some passes? 2-3 IIRC. Did our O-line shoot us in the foot with penalties. Yup. Does Clay have a life or even been laid? LOL yea right.

Players care - coaches haven't figured it out yet.

On a side note our D was MUCH better vs. a much better offense...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Clay is the biggest pack of chicken shit on CP. Look back at this thread from yesterday and I shut him down on facts then he refuses to produce a counter argument and RUNS AWAY like a scared little girl. And here he is back with his trolling. Aren't you overdue for getting rug burns from hanging out at The Mane?

Saw the exact same thing. IIRC, Alex threw an in route, and Ware was streaking up the sideline behind his man. Would have been 6 points.

6:26 of the first quarter.

Had Alex waited a split second longer, it's a huge play.
