Ouch. Watching ESPN and saw Geno just sitting there with his head in his hands. That's sad.

Now, it could be that you were all correct and the entire NFL is wrong. Could be. However, anybody who actually watched Geno Smith during the second half of last season knew that he wasn't 1.1 material.

Personally, I like Geno, but good lord people...if you're going to be so sure about something, do your homework first.

But I read MORE comments from Geno fans regarding how stupid this front office would be if they selected anyone else but Geno at 1.1...

Out with the obsolete comparisons to Akili Smith, Vince Young, and JaMarcus Russell.

In with the comparisons to Pat White, Jarius Jackson, Tee Martin, Ted White, and Casey Printers.

Even though I want Geno smith I think it's a mistake for him to just leave the draft.

Pat White was actually drafted in the 1st unlike Geno. Sad that Geno wont get drafted higher than Pat White or Oliver Luck did.

Overrated.

We all know the bust rate of 2nd round QBs. Gotta get'em in the first to have the odds in your favor!

No, dude. Sheesh, you of all people should know this.

The argument was QB at 1.1, and NO TRADES for shitty ****ing Alex Smiths.

Tyler Wilson was still in the "I'll take it" category when he was playing during the season. So was Matt Barkley.

We've had this conversation like 30 different times. It was NEVER "Geno or I'm killing everybody"

Jesus. This kid is almost as immature as Ryan Leaf.

Pouts, calls people out and doesn't take responsiblity.

No wonder nobody touched him in the first round. He has talent, but my God his intangibles might be some of the worst I've seen from any QB in years.

I said it 8 months ago and I'll say it again: Geno Smith is not a leader.
We must break the habit of comparing Geno to first round draft picks. He's almost as immature as Marcus Vick.
