I'm not applying any morals when considering the possibility of a league wide conspiracy. Of course they painstakingly vet new owners. Why on earth wouldn't they? They're 32 billionaires in a profit sharing group. There's thousands of reasons why they would vet new owners, which don't involve any morality. Legit simple business reasons that are employed in other profit sharing organizations. That makes infinitely more sense than some elaborate conspiracy. Again, you're getting locked onto one of the craziest and most unreasonable explanations to your question, and ignoring any other possible explanation. You are the one convinced you've got the answer, when I'm saying there's many different explanations and the best ones don't involve any type of conspiracy at all. You can't even acknowledge that as a possibility. Until you can overcome that simple obvious flaw in your analysis, you'll remain another confirmation bias nutcase.

And that sounds like the most likely explanation to you? How can you not see the flaw in your thinking there? Why would you not even consider an alternative explanation that is much more likely? So the pre-determined box you're attempting to put me in doesn't apply. Yet I also understand what's actually feasible, and acknowledge that the NFL can make a bajillion dollars without any need for any dumb conspiracy that wouldn't be possible anyway. I don't agree, not being outraged enough is at least part of why Hunt feels no pressure. And we'll probably have to fuel the plane (again) before this situation is fixed too.

Since it's been all but confirmed that in the past writers / various other types of media personalities have lifted topics, arguments, viewpoints, theories, etc off CP, and seemingly adopted them for their own takes, why not keep it going?

Maybe they'll decide to lift the information and raise it in the media?

Granted, the game in question may be dead and buried as far as the NFL, media, and fans around the country are concerned, but there's still 3 games remaining this season. Not to mention next season.

Obviously, I am primarily concerned with the Chiefs, but enough people around here watch multiple games on a weekly basis. Home DVR, YouTube, All 22 and the rest gives anyone ample access to document shady calls or instances where the officiating is unevenly applied for or against one team or the other.

I'd kinda like to see a repository of outright terrible officiating because I think it would make the problem a lot more crystal clear as well as illuminate the bias that exists for certain teams favored by the NFL.

Those not interested and which this thread would die. Simple solution : stop ****ing clicking on the topic and reading the new posts.

Have we gone through the game and looked for chiefs holding Steelers? Would be right in the interest of finding a real bias in the game. I personally couldn't stomach that right now.
