Like many others, I always suspected that Coach Self would only move on if Popovich retired. But that opening is filled. And I don’t suspect that Coach Self is ready to retire. I predict he will stay at Kansas until he retires… unless the Spurs have an early break up with Johnson.

Wait until the judges just scrap eligibility rules entirely considering college sports are quasi-professional now.

I don't really see Joe Dooley, Doc Sadler, Barry Hinson, or Danny Manning as anywhere close to being yes men. Maybe that's because they were just more outspoken and each branched out on their own. His current staff does fit your profile.
