This issue has been coming up in several recent conversations....that new posters and those who don't post often, don't feel welcome, or comfortable to make comment. The Offseason, when its slow, is as good a time as any, to wade into the pool.

Let me say, that prior to joining the planet(a new start) I was very uncomfortable posting at the star.....because "these internet people seem to know each other". I sort of felt like I was interupting someones conversation at a cafe or something. It took "the mike keck incident" to make me just do the cannonball into the pool. I wasn't comfortable until I had an oportunity for a fresh start, when chiefsplanet came online....and it took awhile after that.

Every poster has a story and a personality. Those who have been here a long time, probably know enough about each other's lives to scare the shit out of all of us....just from accumulation of tidbits through the years.

Nope. My ex-fiance grew up here - *she* was the navy brat and drug me out here - after we split up I just never really left.

I'm sorry, I was never big on Bremerton, ship yards don't make for good neighbors. I had and apt. in Port Orchard though, I liked it pretty well. Welcome aboard.

Didn't know this thread existed till it hit the front page. So I'm a chiefs fan from New York City. I've been asked since I was about 12 as to why am I"m a chiefs fan. The answer always (like many other out of state fans I think) is that Montana was my idol and I followed him over to the Chiefs and then later moved my devotion to DT.

I didnt get to see them live till I went to college in Florida and caught them against tampa three years ago. It was a high scoring exciting game that we barely lost, lots of Chiefs fans there. I think its always cool when I wear any Chiefs gear and random people scream Chiefs at me on the street(happened like 10 times). I repped them at the draft this year and hopefully will next year too. I also plan on getting tickets for this years jets game with my boy whos a jets fan. He says he'll look out for me. Dunno if I'm a wear my TG jersey there :o.
