I remember hearing about this kid, but I can't believe he got signed by Everton. That's a huge jump to make. Talk about living the dream.

If he plays. It's always fun to see one of your players go to a top team, but he needs to play in the run up to SA. Milan seams to be a good fit though, with the injury problems in their defense. This could be great if it works out.

Good for Gooch, that's a nice place for him to end up as Nesta and a few other defensemen can't seem to stay healthy. Now they just need someone up top to lessen the blow of Kaka's sale.

Also, my disdain for Larrionda grows again. Not that it matters much right now, but my buddy said Michael Bradley got a 3 game suspension resulting from his bullshit red against Spain. The guy should be banned from ever officiating a US game again.

I thought it was 4 games, but it doesn't really matter. CONCACAF gave us extra roster spots for the Gold Cup because 1) we were just in the Confederations Cup, and 2) it's CONCACAF. So, BB just put MB in one of those spots to serve his suspension during a tournament he was never going to play in. Awesome.

it's not going to effect us though... he gets to serve out his suspension during the Gold Cup (which I don't know how that works because he's not even on the roster lol)

Gooch going to AC Milan is huuuuge though...

And it won't be the last club upgrade for one of our boys this summer, either.

I know. It's really more of a principle sort of thing for me. I'm stoked for tomorrow's game, time to see if the C team can play well against a decent opponent. Hopefully Cooper will get a look.
