And if the Chiefs took Clausen or Sanchez (neither of whom I liked) they would not be any worse off than they are now. Nothing would have been lost by drafting them.

If you apologize for the team's moves you don't have to accept the fact that the team is going to continue to suck. It's a coping mechanism.

I agree. I remember reading that Fisher is a much more aggressive tackle which would fit Reed's scheme. I'd also much rather have a rookie T at RT then LT. I just can't see any way unless they are overwhelmed that they trade Albert. A 2nd rounder isnt enough. 2 2nds or a 1st would be really hard to turn down however.... that being said, no one is gonna cough up that much for him, and i'm happy that they won't.

Sanchez was a good prospect that just went to the wrong situation. As much as you toe the " gotta be the right fit" line you should know that. He wasn't developed worth a shit but he absolutely had te skillset
And if you've moved on maybe change your picture |

This is what it comes down to
A. Albert, Geno or any other QB at 1, BPA in round 2 B. Joeckel, Alex Smith and BPA in round 2. With the 5m you save with Joeckel add another Free Agent |

Don't buy it when your own coach trashes you to NFL coaches. And he was right. He flamed out after 2 years.

I've actually really warmed on keeping Albert, trading down and taking a pass rushing olb. We are gonna be in sub package stuff a ton so he would be on the field a lot.
I think buffalo will eventually overpay cause nix is a doofus. |

I'm just going along with it. I haven't spent one cent on the franchise since the 90s. At this point, they're a little more than television program for me. |

If Reid/Dorsey pass on a QB at 1 and any of the top guys develop into a franchise QB they are going to take never-ending shit for it.
