Wow. What was the dunk worth... two points. How many did KU win by... three points... and if you don't think SIU was the beneficiary of the refs bad calls too you didn't watch the game.

bull .... if you need to plan then you do so before the FT's

cause you see IF wright makes 1 free throw the only plan you need is to not foul.

cause it's game over

so you only need 1 plan ........ IF he misses

so that timeout was crap and it iced the shooter just like he did against mizzou a couple of years ago.

I don't think I've ever had this feeling before, because my teams always lose these games.... I'm never on this side of it, where it's a calm relief because of a brutal game with high expectations. Sure, my teams have had close wins, but nothing this close to "surviving to play another day". It's weird.

On a completely different note, now that I'm listening to him again.... F*** YOU Jay Bilas!! I never had a problem with him before, but he was insanely annoying..... I had gotten tired of Packer during the last round, but I'd gladly take him back now. He might as well have been bouncing up and down in the lane with a big "CHOKE" sign during our free throws. Well, it probably couldn't have made our free throw shooting any worse, but that's not the point.

Bilas sounded like he was on the SIU payroll.

I get so sick of these mid major piles of shit playing everything but basketball and dumbing down the tournament. I mean, sure that's great D they played, but God is it boring basketball. I LOVE KU basketball and I almost fell asleep during that game. Go home you one trick puppies.

Dumbing down? No way, that was a great basketball game... if someone could get KU to play on the ball defense like that, with KU's talent level, they would win the whole thing. SIU was completely overmatched athletically tonight and still almost won the game because they are so sound defensively. That game was a joy to watch.

I think its time for KU to start scheduling more mid-majors to better prepare us for it in the tournament.
