I should clarify that I've not ever seen anyone have that divot form and be a very consistent player. If your divot is facing that far right your gonna have to be pretty flat and not going to get much power

That's tough...it almost seems like a mental thing, but you might try adjusting your grip on the driver. Maybe taking your right hand (assuming you're a righty) and opening the club face and moving your right hand grip a little more open. Anything to almost encourage a slice swing.

You could also try a more vertical swing plane with the driver. It comes down to finding a good feel and what enables you to consistently hit it straight.

Snap hooks are tough, but it indicates you closing the club face quickly at impact with a flatter swing plane.

Hootie, sounds like your body is quitting and the arms are flying over.

Think flat left wrist bent right wrist at impact. If you have access to it, take a club and swing it in a swimming pool. It will make you hold the lag and compress the ball

Yup.

Ray Cook golf company once designed an entire marketing campaign around that quote. Right as the second generation of titanium clubs were coming out, they made an all-titanium iron, called the Titanic. They purchased a fold out spread in Golf Digest for an ad that said something to the tune of "Finally, a one iron that God can hit."

Those clubs were crazy expensive at the time, too, $1500 back in 1997/8, and they were massive. They ended up flopping big time and really drove the nail in the coffin of that company.

I got a chance to watch the Senior Pga Championship on Saturday at the Pete Dye course in French Lick, which is 25 minutes from my house.

First off, the course was magnificent. A truly unique place, built on sharp hills in the White River valley. Very tough, with sharp doglegs and small, undulating greens.

Second, Monty looked good. He was in control pretty much the whole time. We sat on 13 tee when he came through, 13 is a 198 yard par 3, and he hit it pretty close.

All in all, it was an awesome experience.

I absolutely enjoyed the women's NCAA tournament. Golf channel had it on 3 days straight. I watched it all. More enjoyable than the Irish Open.

What a crazy finish too. These girls can play.

Warming up to this Irish golf tourney. Pretty scenery when it's not pouring down rain. Still can't tell the fairways from the greens though. Looks like they just place a pin in the middle of the fairway to me.

Started playing again each weekend after a two year hiatus and sadly last week i was bitten around 50 times by small gnats that were everywhere the whole 18 holes. I still have welts and bites all over that itch, even in my ears.

So I played Deer Creek and I like the course. To bad it was slush dictated by Mother Nature. Shot an 83 from the back tees with 5 3-putts. Putting is the game so that sucks.

I've not shot an 83 in years, but I blame my clubs. Lord knows it can't be me!!!!

Very good. Where's Deer Creek? That's actually the name of our course here in Jax. Top 5 toughest course in town, including TPC. Junior tour coming in 2 weeks.

I've never played from the tips. I've now officially entered 'old man' tees. I'll leave the tips for my kid.

Yeah it's 133rd off Metcalf. No range was a little of let down but the course was nice.
