If he runs the under it is not a 4-3. It is an attacking defense using 3-4 personnel

Jauron ran a under at times while at Cleveland but yes he is more of your standard 4-3 guy.
Kiffin is the one that runs the under more so than his old Tampa 2. Remember before he developed the Tampa 2, Kiffin was the master of the 4-3 under while at Nebraska and Arkansas. Pete Carroll learned the 4-3 under from Kiffin at Arkansas. Last edited by ChiefMojo; 01-07-2013 at 09:57 AM.. |

By the way, if we go with the under defense, either Hali or Houston will be playing DE but not both.
As others have stated, it uses 30 front personnel. Chris Clemons is only about 260 but the guy opposite him runs like 320. |

n. I love Seattle defense and Cleveland defense was good considering the lack of talent. |

I think we have the DT's for it to work well. Poe as a 1-Tech and Dorsey (if we re-sign him) as the 3-Tech. This would be the best fit for Dorsey IMO... Remember Warren Sapp was tremendous under Kiffin as a 3-Tech. Rod Marinelli would be great for our DL!
Hali would likely play WDE and Houston would play the SLB spot that resembles as 3-4 SOLB. |

If this is true, Hali is the natural fit...he's played DE before and he's not the ascending pass rusher. I want Houston able to fly and crush Manning's neck into the ground...

Is the Denver set up considered a 4-3 under?

Also, I'm just fine with having Liza Manelli coaching our defensive line.
It's about time we brought in a defensive line coach with a ****. |

So then he'd roll with a d-line like this?
Poe - Dorsey - Hali? |
