Romeo sent a shot across the bow of Pioli

After hearing all the talk today on radio, etc., as much as a lot of us would have liked to have seen Romeo go for the win in regulation he probably did the best thing for this team and sent a very clear and unmistakable message to Pioli that he will not put a game in Cassel's hands unless he has too.

There are some drawbacks as that same message gets sent to the team as well.

From former players to talking heads they have all basically said that there is no disguising this message. Romeo may have done us a favor and took us a huge step towards getting rid of Cassel.

Couple this with hearing last week from Maas that Romeo says he does not believe in Cassel. This is good news.

Yesterday.

Up until yesterday, he wasn't a guy that you could exactly trust.

And who knows which guy will show up next week?

I'm not saying it's a revelation that Cassel sucks. I am saying when your coach blatantly demonstrates he has no faith in you it speaks louder than a bunch of fans screaming it.

And we needed OT. Damning evidence.

Up until yesterday he had missed his last 3 FG's outside of 40 yards, I do believe.

What's ****ing amazing is all the hate around here for Cassel and suddenly your pissed that he wasn't given a chance to win a game.
Proof?
I'm not pissed Cassel wasn't given a chance to win the game. I despise Cassel. I'm pissed that Crennel's incompetent coaching will cost us games in the future because of his horrible time clock management skills. Like I said in a earlier thread... Two minutes with two timeouts is more then enough ****ing time to travel 30 yards without 'putting the game in Cassel's hands'. Crennel is a ****tard and the sooner you realize that the better.

Bill Maas put it perfectly on MSN Redzone tonight. He said Cassel is like the average golfer. You don't know what your are going to get from play to play and if you play enough holes there will be the occasionaly "good shot" but overall you stink as a golfer.

I'm just a tad concerned that Pioli would let Romeo get close enough to his bow to shoot his stuff across there.

Uh, you're an idiot. We ran the ball, AKA took it out of Cassel's hands and didn't move any further. Quit trying to have it both ways.

I think Pioli will draft a QB. He tried to sign Pay Pay. He talked to the Rams about moving up.

Pretty telling signs.

Watching MNF wondering what our record would be with Russell Wilson at QB...
