I'd have a fire sale this offseason and try to trade as many players as possible.

If Green wants to play one more year, I'll take a 2nd day pick for him.

If Dante is unhappy, I'd try to get a 3rd rounder for him.

Tony, tag your it, then you are listed on ebay the next day for the highest bidder.

LJ, sign a contract extension, if not you are on the trading block.

Jared Allen needs a come to Jesus talk as well. I presume he'll miss the first 4 games of 2007 if he is found guilty of his 2nd DUI offense. If I hear he is still out partying, etc., he's on the trading block as well.

Players not back in 2007 because of cuts, contracts, etc.: Sims, Welbourn, Knight, Turley, Bober, Gardner, Hicks.

I'd look to trade the following, I think they have some trade value:

Greg Wesley
Dante Hall
Priest Holmes (if medically cleared to play)

I'd cut Sims, Turley and Bell.

Players who would likely get cut after training camp do to younger/better talent acquired via FA or the draft:

Hicks
Gardner
Scanlon
Bober
Dee Brown
Ronnie Cruz

All this trade stuff...the only player that anyone has mentioned to trade with any sort of value is Hall and it's like 5th/6th round value.

Ok I am for keeping Hall for returens and as a 4th receiver. We need someon a little taller than him to throw too. I can think of several catches he makes if he is taller. We have to have a taller receiver to play the slot.

Yeah I'd agree with that.

If we can get anything for Hall, take it.

Otherwise, cut him.

The Dante thing is just like the Trent Green thing... maybe it would help to replace some of the people blocking for him.

And not that Dee Brown is a legend, but he is our 2nd leading special teams tackler, he does bring something to the table. He actually has more tackles on the season than Pollard, and Pollard plays defense. We need to improve our special teams too. I mean really, among all the other regrets, if we make two key special teams plays: stopping a fake punt, and not screwing up a blocked punt, we take 14 points off the board against San Diego, maybe we're in line for a playoff spot.

We need to sign Moss and Warren Sapp... We need to lure Deon Sanders out of retirement... Do a complete transplant on Gannon from the spinal cord up to protect his neck... Convince Andre Johnson of the Texans, and Roy Williams of the Lions that KC is the place you wanna be... If those two don't work out --- convince Rison to come out of retirement !!

I'm kinda with Mecca on this one, because then KC could slide DJ at MLB, Key Fox at WSLB, and the (pipe dream) Kris Griffin will pan out at SSLB
