NBC reporting Wesley will be gone
Just for the record, NBC reported last night that Wesley told them that he was not returning.

Just watched it again, reported that the Chiefs are shopping Wesley to Bears, Vikings and Packers. Wesley told the source that he "would not" play for the Chiefs next season.

Wesley is NOT a better tackler. If anything, they're equally bad.

But saying Wesley is a better tackler than anyone on this team is a joke. He's never wrapped up anybody - he thinks "tackling" = throwing a shoulder into someone and bouncing off.

I don't know about ambuel, but I was terribly impressed with Wesley's tacklin' skills as Tiki Barber and the all world Cleveland Nighttrain-Derrick Anderson drug him downfield like a dora the explorer backpack.

. I'm sure you've gone through and made evaluations watching the game tape and not just the ball? Here's on example for you: Watch Page in the Pittsburgh game. Wesley never looked THAT bad on a missed tackle. Wesley is also much better at attacking the LOS in run support. Yeah he's not perfect but neither is any other safety. Page is a decent ballhawk but will be a downgrade when it comes to:

A: Covering the field sideline to sideline (lack of quickness - too slow)
B: Run support

He might be an upgrade in the headiness department but that doesn't really matter if you don't have the athletic ability to cover the field.
