Anytime my friends parents invited me to things like dinner, games, etc when i was a child they always paid and vice versa. If otherwise stated the parent i dont think should have to give money, if anything give the kid money incase.

sometimes things mean alot to you as a kid and some other shit doesn't but you never know when you are going to make a memory for a lifetime for some kid, good or bad

Some of my best memories was my dad was halfway cheap ass, but when he was pissed at work or something he would just say, Hey lets go get that bass fishing game for nes! Man my dad is awesome. He knew I didn't want to sit out in the heat being bored as shit, so we would sit in AC catching pixilated fish. i am not even making this up
